Job DescriptionSolaimaneyah is looking for a passionate digital marketer to join our online marketing team. As a member of our team, you will be engaged in Solaimaneyah’s marketing channels through execution of strategies to drive new customer acquisition. The Digital Lead will be responsible for developing, managing and executing web marketing and social media campaigns to support convention objectives while ensuring a consistent marketing message and strengthening Solaimaneyah’s position and reach in the market.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a strategic interactive marketing plan to support overall convention marketing campaign including specific programs designed to drive traffic to the Solaimaneyah Show website. Create, maintain and execute timelines.• Develop and execute a clearly defined social media strategy to support marketing campaign and customer support initiatives while increasing brand equity and online awareness. Create, maintain and execute editorial calendar and posting schedule.• Write and manage content for interactive promotions including emails and e-newsletters; manage additional content and approvals from content stakeholders; supervise copywriting/editing and technical requirements for content. Create, maintain and execute timelines.• Create mechanisms and benchmark criteria to track the effectiveness of each component and prepare regular evaluations of each. Implement improvements as required.• Conduct, gather and analyze market research to determine SEO and social media opportunities and competitiveness. Develop unique value propositions, partnerships and programs targeted to key audience segments.• Participate and initiative online conversations across a variety of channels; develop and monitor social networking sites. Use social listening tools to monitor online conversations.• Participate in the overall creative concept and theme development for each marketing campaign; maintain brand and creative strategy consistencies across all interactive marketing and social media programs.• Create and manage strategies for the acquisition and development of an email database to support various marketing programs.• Research, implement cutting-edge web tools, to enhance user experience as well as improve show experience for attendees and exhibitors. Manage content development, design, and technical requirements related to third party interfaces for the convention site.• Research, negotiate and manage cooperative online promotional and advertising opportunities like directory listings and links to expand the reach and effectiveness of the marketing campaigns.• Direct development of creative assets to support interactive marketing and social media programs; coordinate with designers to ensure that electronic artwork is delivered to marketing partners and channels in a timely manner.• Create and manage the interactive marketing and social media budget.• Perform any additional duties as needed to accomplish the goals and objectives of the event-marketing department and to maximize the success of the Solaimaneyah conventions.• Continually strive to expand a working knowledge of the latest marketing strategies and techniques along with the interactive tools and techniques that are available and effective. Identify, interpret and capitalize on social media trends.• Develop a complete understanding of each convention and exhibition program and a working knowledge of that industry to include appropriate product categories, industry trends, audience makeup/key survey facts, conference focus, other major associations, competitive programs, etc.• Work with Marketing Development Manager as required with special projects.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degreeTwo years marketing experienceTwo years’ experience in interactive marketing, specifically website content development and design, and email campaigns.Two years’ experience in developing and executing social media strategies.
