Position Summary:

The Program Specialist will be working on No2tit Maya campaign, in close cooperation with the campaign coordinator. No2tit Maya is a joint campaign between Etijah and the British Council. It is an awareness campaign aiming at highlighting the water problems in Egypt, pushing for behavioral changes concerning water use, and most importantly promoting volunteerism culture.


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Mange the online campaigns accounts on face book and twitter.• Develop and deliver the communications material, which will include; campaign videos, media, on and printable material as brochures and toolkits.• Deliver regular communications to volunteers, partner organizations and to donor British Council, through monthly newsletters, blogs and news articles.• Maintain a high level of knowledge of new media campaigning techniques and apply the learning to campaign activities.• Support the campaign Coordinator to deliver projects activities, such as planning meetings, Recruit and line manage volunteers as appropriate, ensuring effective performance management.• Collect, document and edit successful stories sent by volunteers in Arabic and English.• Undertake any other responsibilities, tasks or activities as reasonably required.
